Day off from hockey before a busy weekend, so it was an uneventful evening to round out an uneventful day. Sophie kicked Sam in the eye ("On accident!" she repeatedly screamed through her own tears), so that was fun. Kids got quite the bruise under his eye, but it just makes him look badass. Tieraney freaked only slightly. I enjoyed watching it grow. I mean, don't get me wrong...I don't want to see my kids in pain. But I know things like this will happen, and once you're sure no body parts will be lost as a result of the "accident," you may as well use the incident to teach the boy to be tough, right?
