October 6th - 23-13

Well, now, that's better. After a scoreless first period, the Ducks of Anaheim scored three on the Wild in the second, which is when I gave up hope. By the time I went to bed, the Wild had put up two of their own in the third. Woke up to discover they'd managed to tie it 3-3 late in the third, then won it in OT, 4-3. I do enjoy the hockey wins.



Somehow, though, the Flames are already 3-0. We're two games into the season and we're down four points? That doesn't seem right.

Another "yellow card" for Sophie. Been a while since the last one, though, so I'm not too mad about it. No They Might Be Giants for a week. May not sound like much, but if you knew how much she loves that They Might Be Giants DVD, you'd understand.

Got a scale for review. A scale? Yes. It connects to your computer via WiFi to record your weight and such, allowing you to track your progress. I only have it for 45 days, but it may prove useful enough to just buy. For instance, did you know I've gained eight pounds over the last six months or so? Neither did I. Wrong direction, considering the cruise in June.
