My God, finally. Wild won at home last night, 3-2, after dropping five straight on the road. We were down 1-2 at the end of two, but newly appointed captain Miko Koivu scored with about four minutes left to force overtime. We then went to the shootout, where the only goal scored was again by Koivu. El capitan!



There was still a lot of blowing going on, we were outshot in the second period something like 4 to 17, but I'll take the win.

And don't those green jerseys look snappy? I'll be placing an order soon. But dag, hockey jerseys are expensive. You want an authentic with numbers and a name and a captain or alternate designation, you're paying nearly $400. Fuck you, Reebok.

Editor-in-chief at our sister site, Gadgetell, gave his two weeks. Not sure how this affects me. Likely, it won't at all. But maybe, just maybe, the NAPCO guys see this as a warning, and they offer me and the Gamertell fellow retention bonuses, which the Dabbledoo boys recommended from the start. That will pay for a hockey jersey, I should think.
