September 21st - 23-13

Did I mention my wife got the tattoo over the weekend? She did. I'm not at all into it, but whatever. How often am I looking at the back of her neck? She fainted twice after it was done, I guess. I had to stay home and watch the kids, so I missed the excitement. She went with a friend from work, who apparently freaks out over such things more than...well, Tieraney does. No sense of calm in that family. No grace under pressure.

Hockey team lost 5-1 to Columbus, putting us at 2-2 in the preseason. I'm not even sure how many preseason games there are. Six? I think maybe six.

All moved in at the office now. Sitting in my own room with no windows, but a total lack of people eating Apples and toast around me. I'm pleased.

And Sophie got another note sent home from school. Apparently, she wouldn't quit tapping her pencil even after Mrs. Eckhart told her to stop twice. TWICE! So, she knows now that if any more notes come home from the school, there will be no rides at the county fair on Saturday. Finally, a threat that's not hollow, because it'll save me $10. Come on, Sophie, tap that pencil!

That may not have sounded right.

Off tackle picks up four.

Life's ball. 1st and 10 on their own 22.
