Finally, something kind of fun. Since I didn't go to Philly, Tieraney went out after work with her coworkers who had a farewell party for someone who worked there. I went home early to get the kids, bathe them, feed them, then wait for Tieraney to get home so we could go see Almost Queen in Cuyahoga Falls. That's obviously a poorly named Queen tribute band (the real Queen should call themselves Almost Queen now). It was very crowded and we had horrible views (small, outdoor amphitheater against the Cuyahoga River), but it was a lot of fun. The kids loved it. Sophie was thrilled when they played songs she knew ("Bicycle Race," "Don't Stop Me Now," etc.), and Sam danced the whole time. The kids were quite the spectacle, with the boy dancing and Sophie on my shoulders singing along to "Radio Ga Ga." Warms the hearts of Queen fans to see the chirrens singing along.

The band was good. They overreached a couple times, but they mostly nailed it. I was pleased.
And that's worth a first down, right?
My ball: 1st and 10 on my own 39.
