Saturday, we were playing WiiSports Resort Bowling, when it suddenly occurred to us that, hey, there's real bowling. So, we took the kids bowling. It was good and all, I had a pretty fantastic game for myself, but the kids started misbehaving after we done, so it didn't end well. Put Sophie on one of those shopping market merry-go-rounds, turned around for a second, and she was standing up on it with an arm in the air. Pretty impressive, actually, but when I told her to sit back down, she decided to cross over to a different horse. So, I pulled her off and that was that. Not well met.
Here's what I liked about Saturday night, though. Went upstairs to the bedroom where Tieraney was watching TV. Dialogue:
K: We renting a movie or something.
T: Actually, I'm in the mood for a chick flick.
K: Okay, well, I can go play Wii for a while until you're done.
T: That's fine.
So, I played Wii for an hour and a half, Tieraney watched "Confessions of a Shopaholic," then we did it.
See? I didn't have to watch the chick flick. I got to kill zombies. And I still got to do it. Marriage kicks ass.
Nothing big on Sunday, but we are, apparently going to have Sophie's November birthday party at a place with giant inflatable things. More about that in November.
Quick dump over the middle picks up 7.
My ball: 2nd and 3 on my own 46.
