That handsome fellow behind him is not Rob Lowe, it's Chuck Fletcher, our new GM. Now, let's have a productive draft, find a replacement for Gaborik (who will obviously be leaving the first chance he gets), and get that third jersey announced, and all will be right in the State of Hockey.
Did I mention before that my boss was going to knock down a wall to give me my own office with the panoramic view of the parking lot? That's not going to happen now. But I am getting the old lunch room. He's buying new filing/kitchen equipment that won't look horrible in the reception area, and I finally get my own office (I get to pick the furniture and everything). No window, but so be it. Truth is, the only reason I don't have an office now is because I never wanted to give up the window. But I'm now sharing an office with a guy who openly admits that he cries when watching the kids' cartoons and another who complains all the time when it's cold, both of whom love to eat apples and potato chips all day, and I just can't take it anymore. I need me my own space. Hopefully, that'll all finish up within a couple weeks. Until then...
Looking for an open receiver in the end zone, the QB has to scramble for three.
My ball: 2nd and 7 on Life's 21.
