Memorial Day! But I did no memorizing. I went to work. I prefer work over parades. After work, I drove the family up to Geneva-On-the-Lake for some miniature golf. I've learned to never do this again. My daughter apparently has a fierce competitive streak in her, and gets quite angry when she can't do something well. Good luck teaching her guitar. Sam is always more concerned about the next hole than the one he's playing. He's three, though, so I'll let that slide...for now.
That's pretty much it, then. No cookouts, no flag waving, no fly-overs. Just me and my family and "America's Oldest Miniature Golf Course." I think I'm pleased.
