The first quarter ends with a Wild OT loss, 1-2. Happy we got the point, but it's a game we should've won. We outshot and outplayed Vancouver, especially in the third, but just couldn't score. This doesn't bother me as it did earlier this year, though, as I've mentioned. I'm in straightforward hockey mode now, not Wild mode. I'm just looking forward to the playoffs, and they're easier to watch when my team's not in there getting their collective butt handed to them in the first round. Go Canada!
Another uneventful day, beyond that. Fitting close to an uneventful first quarter. I know these quarters are long, but I gotta stick to the format. And besides, I'm going to need all of these plays in order to put any points on the board. It's obviously going to be a battle of field position.
