I miss the hockey. Playoffs start tonight, but it won't be the same without my team in there. Less stressful to watch, but less exciting, too. Lemaire has definitely retired. Hockey will not bring me as much joy next season.

In football, the NFL schedule was announced, and Seattle does not get a single prime time game. Thanks, NFL. Love ya. Our game in Minnesota is on November 22nd, which is certainly hockey season. It the Wild has a game that Saturday or Sunday night, I just may be going to Minneapolis for the weekend.
And finally, spent a bit yesterday calling repair people for the old house. This Friday, I've got a plumber, an electrician and a garage door dude all coming out to take care of the contingencies. It'll be an expensive day, folks. Very expensive day.
QB can't find anyone open, but scrambles for three yards.
My ball: 2nd and 7 on Life's 45.
