I hate my stupid hockey team. Why do we lose to completely mediocre teams, then turn around and beat the freakin' San Jose Sharks again in San Jose? We were down 3-0 in the second, then came back to win in OT, 4-3, largely due to a freakish goal in the third that tied it. Zidlicky was at center ice looking to dump it into the Sharks end for line change. He did, and puck slowly bounced its way to the goalie, past his glove, under his legs and into the net. Zidlicky had to be told there was a goal, because he was heading to the bench when it happened. Damn. If that had happened to us, I'd be sitting here right now wondering why that only happens to us.



Then, a winning goal with just over 10 seconds left in OT.

That alone is enough for the measurement to show they came up short.
