March 2nd - 0-0

Slight reprieve from the worsening crap that is my hockey team, yesterday, when the Seahawks announced that they signed Bengals wide receiver T.J. Housmanzadeh. T.J.'s a big receiver with great hands, and he runs precise routes; exactly what we need in the WCO. He could play the role that Joe Jurevicius played for us in our run to the Super Bowl in '05, and there ain't nothing wrong with that.

Also, after seeing a bunch of top ranked free agents visit Seattle in the past few years and leave without signing, it's good to see someone decide to stay. It makes me feel better about the team.

But that was overshadowed yesterday by word from Appletell that the money won't be as good for a while. The advertising dollars just aren't there right now, thanks to this economy of ours, so we're tightening our belts. As all of you fictional readers know, now's the time for me to be losing income. How much less am I getting a month? It's a decent percentage, leading to:

Short pass with a nice run after the catch gains 15 yards.

Life's ball: 1st and 10 on my 22.
