My hockey team didn't play last night, but many did. Not a good night, overall, as the Wild got bumped down to 11th place. Yet, we're one win away from being in 7th. That gives me hope, but our schedule does not. We're at Calgary on Saturday, and at Edmonton on Sunday. Tough weekend, but then we've got two home games the following week: Vancouver and Calgary. Again, all division rivals, and all ahead of us. Let's win three, or at least get two and an OT loss.
On the bad side, one of my best writers at Appletell told me he's moving on to bigger things. That's cool. I never expect Appletell writers to stick with it long, but this guy gave me the greatest volume and was spearheading the podcast. So, that's on me now, and the last thing I need is more work to do. But I've got Bill Stiteler on board, and Bill's funny. He and I have a fairly decent rapport, so we'll see how that works out. Maybe it'll be better. I don't know.
Anyway, birthday weekend starts tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.
Pass is complete to the sideline, but the receiver's knocked out of bounds before picking up the 1st.
Life's ball: 4th and 4 on their own 34.
