Despite the loss, I'm calling it a good day because my two CDs from Japan arrived: Shonen Knife's "Super Group" and Puffy's "Puffy Amiyumi x Puffy." Shonen Knife, who recently surpassed They Might Be Giants as my second favorite band of all time are a threesome again, which they need to be. The last few albums have all been a bit too heavy and one dimensional. They're better when they're as much The Supremes as when they are The Ramones, and when the majority of your songs are about animals and food, it's important to keep things fun.
Horrible album cover, though.

Puffy's new album is just a cover song comp, half of which I already have. There are some great songs on there I'd never heard, so we'll call it a successful purchase. This is important, considering what I'm paying to have these CDs imported from Japan.
Also, I finally wrapped my head around a project at work that's been stumping me for quite some time, so I have a happy client.
Pass over the middle is thrown behind the receiver.
