I certainly didn't expect the wild to beat New Jersey (featuring the winningest goalie of all time, as I've covered here before), but I also didn't expect a 0-4 shut-out. If you're going to lose, though, I guess it doesn't matter by how much you lose. And it seems the Wild played fairly well. We had 35 shots on goal to their 29, but another horrible night by Backstrom doomed us. He was pulled when, in the second, they had 3 goals on 11 shots. The Wild is not an offensive team, so we certainly need a goalie who can play better than that.
I left early again on Friday, which I suppose I should quit doing, but I'm growing tired of dealing with the 13 hour days. I should really hunker down and get back into that, because I desperately need the money. Time to get back the Hiner resolve.
Incomplete pass.
My ball: 3rd and 8 on my 40.
