Two nights without hockey leaves me little to talk about. We play again tonight, and we'll likely lose on the road to the New Jersey Devils. This is bad, because although we're still tied for 9th place, the teams ahead of us are starting to pull away. We have 74 points, Nashville and Edmonton have 77, and Columbus has 80. Barring a meltdown from Columbus, we don't catch them. So, we're chasing after Nashville and Edmonton. Nashville has played two more games than we have, so making up those two wins would be enough to put us over them. Edmonton is right with us at 70, though, so we need them to lose while we win. In the next ten days, we play them twice: once at home and once on the road. It's going to be a crazy finish.
Beyond that, I'm just enjoying the video games and working on a pet project I've been meaning to do for a while. Simple, in an effort to get me back to writing. We'll see how it goes.
Run up the middle is stuffed, but the runner bounces outside for a couple.
My ball: 2nd and 8 on my 40.
