January 8th - 0-0

Bad start today. Woke up to an e-mail from my Appletell boss more or less stating he's disappointed in the volume of articles we've been putting out here at the Expo. Fair enough. Jake Gaecke and Bill Stiteler have been busting their butt for me, and I've been working pretty hard myself, but a terrible Internet connection at the hotel has been killing our ability to post at night after the parties, and I was getting nothing from my writers back home. That's my fault, of course...I'm editor, after all. So, I sent out a rather terse e-mail to the group, and immediately start getting some content. So, I spent the day writing and editing, and meeting up with companies where possible. The cool bit was that I met up with a developer I've known for quite some time, and he gave me some inside info on Apple's short term plans. That should lead to some nice pageview numbers.

Had dinner with the Appletell staff at The Stinking Rose..."A garlic restaurant," they call it. And yes, it really is a garlic restaurant. Good stuff. I ate more garlic (literally cloves of it) than any man should in one sitting, but it's not like I'm going to be back to such a restaurant anytime soon.

Appetizer!

Good dinner, decent afternoon at the Expo, but not enough to compensate for a poor evaluation and a Minnesota Wild loss to the Flyers. Handoff up the middle dropped for a two yard loss.

4th and 3 on my 45.
