I haven't worked at Ohio Northern University since 1992, but the 15th of each month still feels like payday to me because that's when we got paid back there. And I think that's my fondest memory of ONU; they sometimes paid me.
By and large, a pretty good day yesterday. Left work early to get my car to the body shop for the repair estimate, so I was home before my family. Spent the time hooking up my Intellivision II and the Odyssey 2 my brother bought me for Christmas. Man, was that a crappy gaming system, but K.C.'s Crazy Chase is still kind of fun. Sophie played for a while, but she plays games like her mom; gets frustrated too easily and yells at the TV. I only do that during football and hockey, things I can't control, but it's not like my teams are ever on TV out in Ohio, anyway.
Regardless, I got to spend the evening with my family, and ate actual food. Then, the Wild beat the Oilers 5-1. In the last two games, our bottom ranked offense has scored 11 goals. Took us six games to do that before these last two, so I'll enjoy this outburst while it lasts.
Deep pass down the center is broken up.
Life's Ball: 2nd and 10 on their own 49.
